Workwear Remix

Workwear remix was the brief I was given and my mind immediately went to working on a building site. I researched various features that are often integrated into the work trousers available now. Some elements that caught my attention were kneepad pockets and tool belts. I designed these two-tone jeans with the tool over-skirt. This was a much more contemporary look at workwear in the building industry, however still extremely functional. 

Wool COat project

My fabric itself inspired my design for this jacket; sourced from John Hanley Woolen Mills, Nenagh. I wanted to create an extended collar that runs into a cape. This took trial and error with pattern drafting.
