Workwear Remix

I was given a project in college to create a pair of streetwear trousers inspired by workwear. I made them out of a quality 100% cotton denim purchased in London. I added a over skirt, inspired by the current skirt-over-pants trend and the flap pockets found on work trousers. Each pleat is another sectioned pocket. I added pleated cargo pockets on the knees of the trousers, giving a nod to the pockets usually used for kneepads. the detail of the long running strips down the front into the buckles of the pockets add contrast and functionality.

After watching Bridgerton, I was captivated by the exquisite costumes, like many others around the world. Inspired by the show, I designed and created a summer dress that embodies the elegance and charm of the Regency era. My friend graciously modelled this dress, showcasing its intricate details.
